MANUEL S. SALAZAR
EDINBURG – Manuel S. Salazar, 80, went home to our Lord Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at his residence in Edinburg.
Born in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, MX, Mr. Salazar had lived in Edinburg most of his life, and was a devoted parishioner at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Maria De Jesus Salazar; and a son, Ricardo Salazar.
Mr. Salazar is survived by his loving wife, Dominga Salazar; six children, Ana Rosa Salazar, Victoria Salazar, Maria Del Carmen (Arturo) Andrade, San Juanita (Cesar) Trevino, Fr. Juan Manuel Salazar, Roberto (Vanessa) Salazar; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and five sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2020, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
