ANGELITA V. SANDOVAL
PHARR – Angelita V. Sandoval, 70, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her father, Andres Vela; a grandson, Gabriel Andrew Acosta; and three siblings, Maria Cuellar, Abram Vela, and Francisca Garcia.
Mrs. Sandoval is survived by her husband, Jose A. Sandoval; three children, Angelica (Santos) Acosta, Priscilla Rodriguez, Jose (Isela) Sandoval Jr.; four grandchildren, Jeremy Acosta, Sophia Acosta, Ethan Rodriguez, and Sonny Sandoval; her mother, Maria Solis Vela; and four siblings, Janie Rivera, Andres Vela Jr., Armando Vela, and Ramona Garza.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2020, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
