ARTEMIO SANDOVAL
SAN JUAN – Artemio Sandoval, 63, died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his residence in San Juan.
Artemio was born in San Juan and lived there all of his life. After working as a truck driver with his dad, he went to work for PSJA ISD Transportation Department and retired after 33 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Roel Sandoval and Gloria Cano Sandoval; and a brother, Juan Roel Sandoval.
Mr. Sandoval is survived by his wife of 25 years, Maria Elisa Sandoval of San Juan; two children, Jose Roel Sandoval, Artemio Sandoval, Jr., both of San Juan; a sister, Yolanda (Martin) Winchester of Austin; two brothers, Alberto (Francis) Sandoval, Roberto (Mary Edna) Sandoval, both of San Juan; a sister-in-law, Alicia Sandoval of San Juan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
