ALAMO - James William Schlieper II, 2, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
James was born in McAllen and had lived in Alamo all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, James William Schlieper; maternal great-grandparents, Gregorio Rodriguez and Luisa Corona; and an aunt, Yolanda Rodriguez
James is survived by his parents, Ernie Alan Schlieper and Samantha Roxanne Rodriguez of Alamo; two sisters, Katherine Schlieper of Edinburg, Danielle Lynn Schlieper of Alamo; paternal grandparents, Mark and Diane Schlieper of Alamo; maternal grandparents, Juan and Susana Rodriguez, Jr. of San Juan; paternal great-grandmother, Muriel Schlieper of Fredericksburg, Texas; paternal great-grandparents, Curtis and Caroline Poindexter of Langley, Oklahoma; maternal great-grandparents, Juan and Socorro Rodriguez, Sr. of San Juan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. with a 7:15 p.m. memorial service at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
