David Segovia Jr.

DAVID SEGOVIA, JR. PHARR – David Segovia, Jr., 71, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at his residence in Pharr. Mr. Segovia was born in Pharr and had lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Consuelo Segovia; a brother, Elias Segovia; and a granddaughter, Yannette Sandoval. Mr. Segovia is survived by his wife, Lucia Ramirez Segovia of Pharr; two sons, Roberto (Cynthia) Segovia of McAllen and David Segovia III of Pharr, Texas; three daughters, Leticia (Israel) Mendoza of San Antonio, Texas, Carolina Segovia of Olton, Texas and Delilah Denise Segovia of Pharr; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Juan Segovia of Iowa and Eduardo Segovia of Plainfield, Indiana; five sisters, Emma Littel of Indiana, Elida Peralez of McAllen, Estella Hernandez of Pharr, Mary Ann Segovia of Dallas, Texas and Matlide Martinez of McAllen. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
