RODOLFO SERNA MCALLEN – Rodolfo Serna, 80, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at his residence in McAllen. Mr. Serna is survived by his wife, Magdalena Serna; two daughters, Eva (Carl) Allen, Ana Maria Rojas; four grandchildren, Ava Allen, Carl Allen, Joyce Allen, Scott (Minnie) Allen; six great-grandchildren; Brittany Allen, Kimberlie Allen, Meagan Allen, Brandon Allen, Destiney Allen, Ashlee Allen; three brothers, Gregorio (Delia) Serna, Alejandro (Josefina) Serna, Carlos (Rose) Serna, all of Chicago, IL. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 3, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 8788. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
