RAMONA SILGUERO
MCALLEN – Ramona Silguero, 89, died Friday, October 14, 2016, at Comfort House in McAllen.
Born in Hidalgo, Mrs. Silguero had lived in McAllen most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Tomasa Palomin; and seven siblings. She was a wonderful and loveable mother.
Ramona is survived by eight children, Rene (Manuela) Silguero, Margarita (Genaro III) Sanchez, both of McAllen, Dalia (Jaime) Flores of Pharr, San Juana (Antonio) Esquivel of Mission, Silvestre (Carmen) Silguero of San Antonio, Raul Silguero of Tucson, Arizona, Hector Silguero of Australia, Adrian Silguero of McAllen; 24 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
