MISSION - Genoveva Garza Silva, 67, died Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Mrs. Silva was born in Los Ramones, N.L., Mexico and had lived in Mission for 19 years.
She is survived by her husband, Jose S. Silva; four children, Evangelina Silva, Jesus Silva, Sergio Silva and Jose S. Silva, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; four brothers, Adan Garza, Federico Garza, Juan Garza and Julian Garza; and two sisters, Leonor Garza and Florestella Garza.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., today, February 13, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
