REYNALDO SILVA PHARR – Reynaldo Silva, 95, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at his residence in Pharr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rafaela Silva; three children, Pablo Silva, Martha Esparza and Magali Silva; parents, Maria de los Angeles and Pablo Silva; five siblings, Ramiro Silva, Rames Silva, Elsa Rodriguez, Emma Carreta and Maria Salinas. Mr. Silva is survived by his five children, Nelida (Federico) Campos, Maria de los Angeles (Juan) Flores, both of Pharr, Clara (Lizandro) Ramirez of Santa Ana, CA, Jose Luis (Maria) Silva of Edinburg and Rafaela (David) Gomez of Tustin, CA; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 17, 2015 and from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2015, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
