SILVIA GLORIA SILVA
MISSION - Silvia Gloria Silva, 50, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at her residence in Mission.
Born in San Juan, Ms. Silva had lived in Mission most of her life and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mission.
Ms. Silva is survived by a son, Jerry Lee Gonzalez of Austin, Texas; her parents, Gonzalo and Dolores Salazar of Mission; a brother, Gilbert (Melissa) Salazar of Mission; three sisters, Nora (Brad) Cowger of Dallas, Texas, Olga (Gerardo) Carranza of McAllen, Marisela Salazar of Mission; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Silvia was our beautiful sister who loved her family and enjoyed her life to the fullest. She had a wonderful sense of humor, her smile made everyone feel special. She enjoyed working at Clark Chevorlet for over 16 years. She enjoyed being a part of the ACTS Community.
The family is very grateful for all the love and support to us during this very difficult time. Special thanks to Clark Chevorlet employees, St. Paul's ACTS Community and Texas Oncology.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 3 p.m. Chaplet of Diviine Mercy. and a 7 p.m. rosary, today, February 25, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2010 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
