SOCORRO ZUMAYA
MISSION- Socorro Zumaya, 74, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Mission Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Octavio Garcia; her parents, Dario Zumaya and Guadalupe Gallejos; and two siblings, Alvaro Duran and Yolanda Zumaya.
Mrs. Zumaya is survived by seven siblings, Maria Limas, Jorge Duran, Marco Antonio Zumaya, Dario Zumaya, Carmen Zumaya, Guadalupe Zumaya, Judith Zumaya, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, May 24, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday May 25, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
