SOLEDAD GARZA
EDINBURG – Soledad Garza, 87, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Soledad Acuna; parents, Guadalupe and Maria Salazar; three siblings, Maria Del Refugio Meza, Jose Manuel Salazar, and Maria Guadalupe Salazar.
Mrs. Garza is survived by her four children, Victor Garza, Belia Garza Calderon, Ruby Smith, Amanda (Javier) Moreno; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six siblings, Jose Salazar, Maria De Jesus Jaregui, Rosario Rodriguez, Maria Del Carmen Salazar, Jose Alfredo Salazar, and Pedro Salazar.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
