ALAMO – Lisa Marie Solis, 36, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 in Pharr.
Lisa was born in Houston.
She is preceded in death by her father, Narcisco Garza; and a brother, Narciso Garza Jr.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Saul Solis; three children, Arianna Marie Solis, Brianna Lee Solis, Saul Nathaniel Solis, all of Alamo; her mother, Maria Ceron of McAllen; three sisters, Denise (Victor) Chapa, Linda Yvette (Marty) Peisen, both of McAllen, Mona Lisa Sanchez of San Antonio; two brothers, David Ceron and Larry (Claudia) Garza, both of Mission; paternal grandmother, Guadalupe S. Garza; maternal grandmother, Gregoria Ceron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lisa had a beautiful infectious smile and laugh. She was very passionate about helping others with a giving heart and loved running. Her love was most evident in her affection for her family. She was an exemplary mother, a faithful wife, a caring daughter, and a loving sibling. She will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a GoFundMe account in the name of Saul Solis.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
