GUSTAVO SOSA
PHARR - Gustavo Sosa, 83, died Friday, May 22, 2009, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Camargo, Mexico Mr. Sosa had lived in Pharr most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Sosa, and his siblings Eloisa Sosa, Julia Cantu, Delfina Villareal, Belen Mora and Trinidad Sosa.
Mr. Sosa is survived by three children, Lalo Sosa, of La Feria, Sulema (Daniel) Belmares, Ismelda (Dimas) Gutierrez, both of San Juan; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marcela Mendiola, of Pharr.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service Monday, May 25, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Trinity Worship Center. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
