Sostenes Trejo

PHARR- Sostenes Trejo, 56, died Sunday, March 9, 2025, at South Texas Health System in McAllen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Florencio and Dominga Trejo; a sister, Adalia Ovalle; a brother, Armando Trejo; a nephew, Basilio “Choco” Ramos.

Sostenes is survived by his daughter, Denise Trejo; four siblings, Noelia (Severo Jr.) Hernandez, Arnaldo Trejo, Oralia Trejo, Patricia (Santiago Jr.) Pinon; 19 nieces and nephews; 31 grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2025, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
