ROSA V. SUAREZ
SAN JUAN - Rosa V. Suarez, 71, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in San Juan, Mrs. Suarez had lived there all of her life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. She was employed by PSJA I.S.D. for 39 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Suarez Jr; and her parents, Ernesto and Rafaela Vega.
Mrs. Suarez is survived by four children, Hector (Thelma) Suarez, Blanca (Jerry) Velasquez, Samuel (Estella) Suarez III, Eddie (Lori) Suarez, all of San Juan; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight brothers, Ignacio Vega, of Elgin, Illinois, Ernesto Vega Jr., Fino Vega, Mario Vega, Pete Vega, all of San Juan, Pitin Vega, of McAllen, Tomas Vega, of Donna, Roberto Vega, of Nampa, Idaho; and two sisters, Antonia Garcia and Sara Vega, both of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, today, December 5, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Monday, December 6, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral sevices are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
