Soledad Teran

SOLEDAD TERAN PHARR — Soledad Teran, 54, died Friday, April 24, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance. Born in Reynosa, she had lived in Pharr since 1967 and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Soledad was formerly employed as a teacher’s aide at P-SJ-A North High School for 13 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Isabel and Maria Irma Teran; and a son, Abel Teran. Soledad is survived by two sisters; Ceferina (Rene) Escobedo, Melissa Teran, both of San Juan; a brother, Daniel (Frances) Teran, of Austin; nieces and nephews, Mary Garcia, Renee Escobedo, Jose Isabel Escobedo, Daniel Teran Jr., Estefanita Teran, David Teran, and Juanita Teran. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place At 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Pallbearers will be Daniel Teran Sr., Daniel Teran Jr., David Teran, Rene Escobedo, Jose Isabel Escobedo, and Juan M. Garcia III. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
