TERESA "TERE" PALACIOS CAVAZOS

ALAMO - Teresa "Tere" Palacios Cavazos, 75, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her residence in Alamo.

She is survived by her husband, Pedro "Pete" Cavazos; four children, Anna Luisa Garza, Dora Elia Garza Amaya, Jose "Tito" (Marla) Garza Jr., and Jorge Garza; 11 grandchildren, Klarissa Ann Villarreal, Ruben Villarreal Jr., Edwin Amaya Jr., Edward Amaya, Marla Karina Dorwart, Areli Denise Garza, Jose "Joey" Garza III, Amber Garza, Jorge Garza Jr., Jorge Andres Garza, and Jorge Tyler Garza; 10 great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Mary "Nena" Pena, Luis Palacios, Carolina Palacios Sanchez, and America "Meri" Miller.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Monday, August 21, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
