Gabriel Tijerina

EDINBUR - Gabriel Tijerina, 38, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Ruben Tijerina Jr.; his uncle, Mario Tijerina; and a cousin, Mario Alberto Tijerina.
Mr. Tijerina is survived by his mother, Esmeralda Rocha-Tijerina; his son, Julian Mateo Tijerina; six siblings, Veronica Tijerina, Ruben (Cory) Tijerina, Julian Tijerina, Rolando Tijerina, Erik Tijerina, Ronaldo Tijerina; three nieces and nephews; paternal grandparents, Jose Ruben and Oralia Tijerina; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
