ALAMO – Maria Estella Torres, 60, died Sunday, July 10, 2016, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in San Juan, she had lived in Alamo most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Torres; three siblings, Rodolfo, Viterbo and Ramon Jr.; and her parents, Maria Luisa and Ramon Bernal.
Maria Estella is survived by a son, Juan Torres; two daughters, Yvonne Torres, Jannita Torres (Arturo Jr.) Diaz, all of Alamo; six grandchildren, Nathaniel, Katherine, Aimee, Emmalynn and Alizee Diaz, Yazmeen Garcia; and nine siblings, Guadalupe, Heralio, Eliazar, Irma, Yolanda, Sylvia, Hilda, Imelda and Mary.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, July 12, 2016, and from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
