PABLO TORRES JR. SAN JUAN – Pablo Torres Jr., 32, died Sunday, December 2, 2012. Born in Aurora, Illinois, Pablo had lived in San Juan for three years and was formerly of Pharr. He is survived by his wife, Valentina Mercado; four children, Robert Martinez Jr., Jean Paul Torres, Elisa Anahi Torres, Sixta Marie Torres, all of San Juan; his mother, Sylvia Torres, of Pharr; his father, Pablo Torres, of Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico; three brothers, Reynaldo Torres, of Weslaco, Alfredo Torres, Elias Flores Jr., both of Pharr; a sister, Elia Flores; and his stepfather, Jesus Quintero, both of Pharr. Visitation will be held from 4:30 – 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, December 5, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
