Adelina Sosa Trejo

ADELINA SOSA TREJO EDINBURG – Adelina Sosa Trejo, 68, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at her residence in Edinburg. Born in Weslaco, she had lived in Edinburg all of her life and was a member of Templo Bethel Assembly of God Church in Pharr. She was employed by Edinburg CISD Food Service Department until her retirement in 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Caretina and Francisco Sosa, Sr. Mrs. Trejo is survived by her husband, Antonio R. Trejo; three children, Steven M. (Delma) Trejo, Jesse R. Trejo, Jennifer D. Trejo; five grandchildren, Derrick Trejo, Diego Medina, Daryl Trejo, Liberty Medina, and David Trejo, all of Edinburg; three siblings, Armandina (Lupe) Rios, Sylvia (Joe) Guerra, both of Edinburg, Francisco Sosa Jr. of New Mexico; four sisters in law, Aggie (Ramon) Gonzaba, Janie (Martin) Corona, Rosie (Mike) Salinas, all of Edinburg, Lali (Simon Jr.) Ibarra, of Weslaco; numerous cousins from Houston, San Antonio, Kerrville and throughout the Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, October 2, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
