ALEJANDRA TREVINO
SAN JUAN - Alejandra Trevino, 85, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Mission Regional Medical Center.
Born in Del Rio, Texas, Mrs. Trevino had lived in San Juan most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Trevino; two sons, Raul and Dario Trevino; two daughters, Lupe Sosa and Aracelia Trevino; her parents, Manuel and Felicitas Tellez; and two sisters.
Mrs. Trevino is survived by eight daughters, Socorro Alaniz of Decatur, Indiana, Josefina (Feliciano) Bautista of Alton, Maria I. (Adan) Maldonado, Dalia (Pres) Lopez, Elena Garza and Lucy (Carlos) Rodriguez, all of McAllen, Nellie (Juan) Guzman of Laredo, Texas and Imelda Fadden of Jackson, Michigan; six sons, Porfirio (Norma) Trevino of San Juan, Robert Trevino of Beaumont, Texas, Joe (Maggie) Trevino of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Alberto (Maria) Trevino and Juan Manuel (Juanita) Trevino, both of Lansing, Michigan and Hector (Diana) Trevino of Alamo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Mariano Tellez of San Antonio, Texas; and two sisters, Julia (Max) Urutia of San Antonio, Texas and Juanita Torres of Del Rio, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, June 14, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2009 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
