EPIFANIO “EPI” TREVINO
EDINBURG – Epifanio “Epi” Trevino, 88, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Care.
Epifanio’s career began with Texas Hi-Way Department. He was the owner of Star Radiator and Muffler Shop in Edinburg. He then was employed at Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department and Edinburg CISD.
Epi’s favorable past times were playing golf and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his parents Faustino and Maxima Trevino; his brother, Gregorio Trevino; sister, Evangelina Losano.
Mr. Trevino is survived by his wife, Beatrice Trevino; his son, Eddie (Socorro) Trevino; his daughter, Evy Balensiefen; two grandchildren, Daniel Balensiefen and Ashley Cantu; three siblings, Ramon Trevino, Matias Trevino, and Minerva Trevino; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
