SAN JUAN - Jose Casas Trevino, 77, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Alamo, Mr. Trevino had lived in San Juan all of his life.
Mr. Trevino is survived by his wife, San Juana Trevino of San Juan; nine children, Anita Gutierrez, Dora Maria Ramos, Irma Trevino, Olga Trevino, Celia Trevino, all of McAllen, Elisa Trevino of Pharr, Fidel Rodriguez, Jose Alberto Rodriguez and Jose Trevino, Jr., all of San Juan; 26 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Leobardo Trevino of Othello, Washington, Domingo Trevino of McAllen, Faustino Trevino of Pasco, Washington and Manuel Trevino of Los Angeles, California; and two sisters, Severa Alegria of Donna and Carmela Gonzalez of Nampa, Idaho.
A rosary was held Friday, August 28, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., today, August 29, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
