EDINBURG - Juan L. Trevino, 85, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at his residence in Edinburg.
Born in Runge, Texas, Mr. Trevino had lived in Edinburg all of his life. he worked for the City of Edinburg water department for over 30 years. Mr. Trevino was a man that was respected by all.
Mr. Trevino is preceded in his wife, Revecca Trevino; his parents, Gregorio and Rosa Trevino; a step father, Eulalio De Leon; two brothers, Tomas and Eulalio De Leon.
Mr. Trevino is survived by his ten children, Angelica (Ezequiel) Farias, Elva (Daniel) Hernandez, Solia Mendez, Florinda Trevino, Olivia (Robert) Garza. Rosalinda Trevino, San Juana Trevino, all of Edinburg, Gregoria (Nancy) Trevino, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Juan (Ana) Trevino, Jr., of McAllen, Norma (Martin) Mendoza, of Naples, Florida, Rebecca Michelle Rodriguez, who was cherished like a daughter; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maria Garza, of San Antonio, Texas, Martha De Leon, of Edinburg; two brothers, Heriberto De Leon, of Edinburg, Pedro (Beatriz) De Leon, of South Bend, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, March 27, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, March 28, 2011, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
