MARIA ESPERANZA "MARI'ITA" VALDEZ
PHARR - Maria Esperanza “Mari'ita” Valdez, 88, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Flores Vega; her parents, Juan and Maria De Jesus Valdez.
Mrs. Valdez is survived by her son, Juan Humberto Flores of Pharr; two granddaughters, Mariana Johnson of Starbuck, MN, and Rosalinda Balderas of Weslaco; a grandson, Juan H. Flores, Jr. of Washington; two great-grandchildren, Dominque Alexis and Gael Alessandro Balderas, both of Weslaco; several nieces and nephews; and a half-sister, Lupita Guzman of Soledad, Ejido de Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday December 4, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
