ALAMO - Elva G. De Valle, 69, died Monday, October 5, 2010 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Alamo, Mrs. De Valle had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lauro and Isabel Garza; and a brother, Rodolfo Garza.
Mrs. De Valle is survived by her husband, Carlos De Valle, Jr. of Alamo; four sons, Carlos (Cris) De Valle III of Sioux City, Iowa, Fernando De Valle, Ruben (Claudia) De Valle, Marco A. Trevino, all of Alamo; five daughters, Norma (Alfredo) Lomas of George Town, Texas, Alicia De Valle, Maria I. (Mauricio) Esquivel, Christina (Ralph) Rico, Jessica L. De Valle, all of Alamo; five grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service, today, October 6, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Thursday, October 7, Zion de Todo Poderoso in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
