HERMINIO VALLEJO, JR. EDINBURG - Herminio Vallejo, Jr., 54, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Vallejo was born in Mercedes and had lived in Edinburg all of his life. He is preceded in death by his father, Herminio Vallejo, Sr. Mr. Vallejo is survived by his wife, Maria Vallejo, of Edinburg; three children, Nancy Vallejo, Cindy Vallejo and Herminio Vallejo, III, all of Edinburg; four grandchildren, Michael Rivas, Fabian Rivas, Micaela Rivas and Delilah Lara; his mother Mercedes Vallejo, of Floresville, Texas; six siblings, Lupita Rodriguez, of Lavernia, Texas, Richard Vallejo, of Edinburg, Robert Vallejo, of San Antonio, Texas, Lydia V. Luna, of Karnes City, Texas, Ruben Vallejo and Lisa Barrera, both of Floresville, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 6 p.m., prayer service today, April 15, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
