REYNALDO VARGAS
McALLEN - Reynaldo Vargas, 60, died Friday, February 10, 2012, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Mr. Vargas had lived in McAllen all of his life. He was the owner of V.A. Architecture and a practicing architect in the valley for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Maria Guadalupe Vargas.
Mr. Vargas is survived by his
wife, Pamela Vargas, of McAllen; two children, Celina Victoria (Joshua Britt) Vargas, of Austin, Texas, Esteban Vargas, of McAllen; a grandson, Oliver Sebastian Britt; three brothers, Jerry (Josie) Vargas, Gregorio (Elvia) Vargas, both of McAllen, Dr. Alfredo Vargas, of San Marcos, Texas; and two sisters, Maria G. (Mario) Siller, of Turlock, California and Delia (Samuel) Martinez, of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, February 13, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Comfort House, 617 Dallas, McAllen, Texas 78501.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
