SAN JUAN – Alicia I. Vasquez, 96, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at her residence in San Juan.
Born in Mexico she had lived in San Juan most of her life.
She is preceded in death by husband, Jesus G. Vasquez.
Alicia is survived by five daughters, Olinda (Rene F+) Avendano of San Juan, Oralia (Ismael) Acosta of Alamo, Jesusa (Lauro) Leal of San Benito, Leticia (Francisco) Valverde of Edinburg, Laura (Rene) Campos of Pharr; a sister, Francisca Flores of Houston; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, July 22, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Saturday, July 23, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
