LUIS M. "CHUBBS" VASQUEZ, JR. SAN JUAN - Luis M. "Chubbs" Vasquez Jr., 34, died Thursday, August 9, 2012. Born in Lodi, California, he had lived in San Juan most of his life. Luis is survived by his parents, Luis Manuel and Angelita Vasquez, of San Juan; a sister, Amanda Vasquez, of Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, August 10, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Luis loved fishing and hunting. He was a great son and a wonderful brother who will be dearly missed. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
