MARIA GENOVEVA VASQUEZ
SAN JUAN - Maria Genoveva Vasquez, 82, died Friday, December 24, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dionicio and Maria De Jesus Gonzalez de Ochoa; one brother, Santos Ochoa, and a sister, Olga Ochoa.
Ms. Vasquez is survived by ten children; Mike (Lupe) Vasquez, Jr., Aida (Tommy Abrego, Sr.) Vasquez, Israel Vasquez all of Austin, Texas, Enrique Vasquez, Alicia (Juan J.) Gonzalez both of San Juan, Juana Alma Murillo, Guadalupe Murillo, Susana (Alfredo Alavez) all of Monterrey, N.L., Enrique (Gloria) Murillo of Nuevo Laredo, Tamps, and Ramon (Cristina) Murillo of Victoria, Tamps; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; one sister, Sara Ochoa of Monterrey, N.L.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm prayer service, today, December 27, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Templo Vida Victoriosa in McAllen. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
