MARTINA VILLALOBOS
EDINBURG - Martina Villalobos, 93, went home to the Lord Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Asherton, TX, Martina lived in Edinburg for most of her life where she had five generations as was the matriarch of our family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Victoriano Villalobos; her parents, Gabino and Francisca Rangel; a daughter-in-law, Esthela Villalobos; two granddaughters, Brenda Perez and Cindy Villalobos; and a great-grandson Orlando Villalobos.
Martina is survived by three children, Eliseo (Tommy) Villalobos, Feliciano Villalobos, Juanita (Juan Antonio) Villalobos; eight grandchildren, Elena (Jason) Bartimus, Blanca Rodriguez, Flor Villalobos, Felix Villalobos, Erica Villalobos, Edith (Mark) Quintanilla, Anthony (Nicole) Perez, Jay (Cristie) Perez; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 Canton in Edinburg, Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
