ANGELICA SOTO VILLANUEVA EDINBURG – Angelica Soto Villanueva, 72, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Edinburg Regional Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Sefarina Soto; and four brothers. Angelica is survived by her husband, Zeferino Villanueva of Edinburg; five sons, Victor C. Villanueva, Jorge Villanueva, Omar (Yolanda) Villanueva, Anthony Villanueva, all of Edinburg, Zeferino (Ana) Villanueva of Michigan; three daughters, Enedina (Oscar R.) Suarez of Long Beach, CA, Rosie Y. Estrada, Esmeralda (Patricio) Gonzalez, both of Edinburg; one sister, Francis Medina of Austin; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. A rosary was held Friday, August 15, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. today, August 16, 2014, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
