Eugenio V. Villanueva

EUGENIO V. VILLANUEVA WESLACO - Eugenio V. Villanueva, 88, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Amara Hospice Inpatient Facility in Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dora Villanueva; two sisters; and two brothers. Mr. Villanueva is survived by his three daughters, Hilda Morin of Weslaco, Irene Garcia, Norma Niño both of Edinburg; a son, Hector Villanueva of San Juan; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A rosary was held Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. today, February 28, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
