EDINBURG – Beatriz M. Villarreal, 83, died Friday, September 16, 2016, at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in San Manuel, Mrs. Villarreal had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Villarreal enjoyed traveling, sewing and swimming. Beatriz was truly a loving person to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and she will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by a son, Ramon “Ray” Villarreal, Jr.; and her parents, Nicolas and Sofia Molina; and four brothers, Fred Molina, Enrique Molina, Joe Molina and Nicolas Molina.
Mrs. Villarreal is survived by her husband, Ramon Villarreal, Sr.; two daughters, Anilia (Juan) Gonzaba and Norma Villarreal (David Ramos); a son, Eddie (Irma) Villarreal; a daughter-in-law, Vivian Villarreal, all of Edinburg; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sofia Gonzalez and Lilia Davila.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 19, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
