EDINBURG- Jose “Pepe” Villarreal, 57, went home to the Lord Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, he was a lifetime resident. Pepe enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Maria Anita Villarreal; and a sister, Margarita Hernandez.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by five siblings, Magdalena Rodriguez, Angelica Villarreal, Irineo (Norma) Villarreal, Arnulfo Villarreal, Heralio (Gloria) Villarreal, all of Edinburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
