EDINBURG - Josefa Salazar Villarreal, 86 died Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Kyle, TX, Mrs. Villarreal had lived in Edinburg all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jaime Villarreal in 2004, and son Jose Jaime Villarreal in 1995.
Mrs. Villarreal is survived by three children Alicia (Larry) Wells of Pearland, TX, Estella (Amancio) Rodriguez, and Noe Villarreal of Edinburg; five grandchildren; Aaron Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez, Matthew Medina, Lauren Villarreal, Kasey Jo Villarreal; one great grandchild; Tiago Alejandro Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, December 29, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton In Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
