MARCELA VILLARREAL
PHARR – Marcela Villarreal, 96, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, at her residence in Pharr.
Marcela was born in Los Angeles, NL, Mexico. Since 1980 she lived on the corner of 7th and Standard St. in San Juan with a home decorated with beautiful flowers in her garden.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Villarreal Ramos; and her son, Ruben Villarreal Marichalar.
Mrs. Villarreal is survived by her eight grandchildren, Sonia Villarreal, Ruben Villarreal Escamilla, Crysol Gonzalez, Jaime Villarreal, Jessica Williams, Ruben Villarreal Salinas, Maria Ruvi De La Cruz, Luis Villarreal; 15 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, April 18, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
