MARIA SOCORRO VILLARREAL
EDINBURG – Maria Socorro Villarreal, 87, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Villarreal Sr.; her parents, Lorenzo and Juanita Herrera; a sister, Maria Juanita Moreno.
Mrs. Villarreal is survived by her 5 children, Guadalupe (Daniel Jr.) Villarreal Delgado, David (Milagro) Villarreal Sr., Beatriz (Felix Sr.) Villarreal Gutierrez, David Villarreal Jr., Robert Davin Villarreal; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ricardo Herrera and Lorenzo Herrera Jr.
Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, November 5, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021, at St. Joseph the Worker in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
