RENE ARMANDO VILLARREAL
McALLEN - Rene Armando Villarreal, 52, entered eternal rest Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in McAllen, Mr. Villarreal had lived there all of his life and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by a son, Rene Villarreal, Jr.; his mother, Isabella Villarreal; and a brother, Rogelio Villarreal.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Maria Campos of McAllen; three children, Natashia (Luis Armando) Gamboa of Edinburg, Esteban Villarreal and Roel Villarreal, both of McAllen; five grandchildren, Nakeyshia Gamboa, Sidney Gamboa, Samantha Gamboa, Arihanna Gamboa, and Rene Villarreal; a daughter-in-law, Sara De La Cruz; his father, Rafael Villarreal and step-mother, Inocencia Villarreal of Mission; three brothers, Rafael Villarreal of Austin, Texas, Ricardo Villarreal of Houston, Texas, Omar Villarreal of Mission; and two sisters, Rose Villarreal of McAllen and Suehayne Villarreal, of Mission.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, July 4, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
