CARLOS VIZCARRA ALAMO - Carlos Vizcarra, 83, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Vizcarra was born in San Benito and lived in Alamo most of his life. He served as an ordained minister of Jehovah's Witnesses since his baptism on February 26, 1983. Carlos is survived by his wife, Maria Vizcarra of Alamo; son, Carlos (Janice) Vizcarra of Clio, MI; two daughters, Teresa Schilling of Houston, TX and Gloria (Antonio) Villarreal of Bandera, TX; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raul "Rudy" Vizcarra of Alice, TX and Arturo Vizcarra of Grand Blanc, MI; and sister, Diana Alvarado of Alamo. Family and friends will gather at 8 a.m. today, January 18, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
