MARIA SOLEDAD VIZCARRA
ALAMO – Maria Soledad “Chole” Vizcarra, 85, died Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Mexico, Mrs. Vizcarra had lived in Michigan most of her life and spent the last 40 years of her life in Alamo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Vizcarra Sr.
Maria is survived by three children, Teresa Schilling of Houston, Carlos Vizcarra Jr. of Weslaco, Gloria (Antonio) Villarreal of Donna; eight grandchildren, Nichol (Kendrick) Broady, Jason Schilling, Alex Vizcarra, Robert Vizcarra, Jesse Vizcarra, Marisa Villarreal, Marcelina Villarreal, Antonio Villarreal Jr.; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roberto, Ernesto, Jose Luis; two sisters, Aurora and Elena; and her beloved dog, Chiquita.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today, September 12, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Private interment will take place at a later date.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
