SARAH G. WATTS PHARR – Sarah G. Watts, 86, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012, in McAllen. Born in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Mrs. Watts had lived in Pharr for most of her life. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Watts; her parents, Esteban Guerra and Rita Gutierrez Hernandez; Siblings, Eva Guerra de Carrasquel, Israel Guerra Gutierrez, Oscar Luis Guerra Gutierrez, Cesar Arturo Gonzalez Gutierrez. Mrs. Watts is survived by her three sons, George (JoAnn) Watts, of Pharr, Steve (Estella) Watts, Jr., of Houston, Richard (Jane) Watts, of McAllen; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Noe Guerra, of Aneheim, California; one sister, Virginia Moreno, of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and one niece Rita Emilia Carrasquel, of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. A rosary was held Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today, December 27, 2012, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
