CHRISTOPHER L. WESSLING MCALLEN – Christopher L. Wessling, 24, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at his residence in McAllen. Born in Corpus Christi, TX, he had lived in San Juan most of his life. Christopher is survived by his parents, Herbert and Ruth Wessling of San Juan; maternal grandparents, Jim and Joan Glassco of Wisconsin; paternal grandmother, Ruth B. Wessling Black of Pharr; and his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Pat Wessling. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Rainbow Room located at 300 E. Canton Rd. in Edinburg (956) 316-8704. The Rainbow Room is an emergency resource center available to CPS caseworkers to help them meet the critical needs of abused and neglected children. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
