CARLOS LUIS YBARRA, JR. ALAMO – Carlos Luis Ybarra, Jr, 25, died Sunday, December 8, 2013, in Sugarland, Texas. Born in McAllen, Carlos had lived in Alamo all of life. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Enrique Ybarra. Carlos is survived by his parents, Carlos Luis and Hilda Ybarra Sr. of Alamo; a sister, Yuri Trevino of Alamo; one nephew, Darin J. Trevino of Alamo; one niece, Daniella T. Echartea of Alamo; paternal grandmother, Aurelia Ybarra of McAllen; maternal grandparents, Jose and Minerva Luna of San Juan. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, December 12, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
