Eulalia M. Zamarripa

EULALIA M. ZAMARRIPA PHARR – Eulalia M. Zamarripa, 74, died Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mrs. Zamarripa was a resident of Pharr since 1966, and a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. She was employed with Hidalgo County as a Tax Assessor Collector and with Rio Grande Valley Gas Company. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reyes and Maria Moralez; and her son, Ricardo Zamarripa, who passed in 2002. Mrs. Zamarripa is survived by her husband of 45 years, Raul Zamarripa; son, Raul (Norma) Zamarripa, Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Z. (Jose G. Jr.) Salazar, all of Pharr; four grandchildren, Zoey Rae Zamarripa of Arlington, Texas, Randy Zamarripa, Samantha Salazar, Isabella Salazar, all of Pharr; numerous brothers and sisters; best friend, Consuelo Diaz Escamilla, of Pharr. A rosary was held Friday, October 12, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., today, October 13, 2012, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral service is under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
