CARLOS ZAMORA SAN JUAN – Carlos Zamora, 80, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at his residence in San Juan. He is preceded in death by his son, Fernando Zamora. Mr. Zamora is survived by his wife, Maria De Jesus Zamora of San Juan; two sons, Carlos (Norma) Zamora of Elsa and Joseph Anthony (Erika) Zamora of Pharr; two daughters, Blanca (Martin) Bravo of Beaumont, TX, and Maria Del Carmen (Mario) Lopez of China, TX; numerous grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, July10, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
