MARIA RITA ZAMORA SAN JUAN – Maria Rita Zamora, 79, died on Friday, July 27, 2012, at McAllen Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her sons, Raul Zamora and Ramiro Zamora, and daughter, Julia Z. Cordova. She is survived by three children, Ramon Zamora of Las Vegas, Nevada, Anna Lee Zamora and Roberto Zamora both of Bakersfield, California; numerous grandchildren; two sisters, Maria Santos Garcia of Miguel Aleman, MX, Maricela Martinez of San Juan; two brothers, Nereo Hinojosa of Corpus Christi, and Antonio Hinojosa of Roma; Nephew Mario (Esmeralda) Martinez of San Juan, their children Mario A. Martinez Jr. of San Juan, and Alejandro Martinez of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, July 30, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
